Marlboro 市长义工奖 Mayor's Volunteer Service Award

总统义工奖（President's Volunteer Service Award，PVSA）自2025年5月起暂停发放。为继续支持和表彰长期参与志愿服务的学生及社区成员，鼓励年轻一代积极服务社区、回馈社会，华夏南部中文学校积极寻求新的志愿服务认证与表彰渠道。

2025年9月14日，校长在Marlboro Day活动期间与Marlboro市长进行了交流，共同探讨学生志愿服务认证与表彰方案。该方案得到了Marlboro市长办公室的支持。经协商，市长同意设立“Marlboro市长义工奖”（Marlboro Mayor's Volunteer Service Award），并为符合条件的申请者签署和颁发荣誉证书。

Marlboro市长义工奖由Marlboro市长办公室支持，华夏南部中文学校组织实施，并由Marlboro市长亲自签署获奖证书。

Marlboro市长义工奖旨在表彰在社区服务、公益活动及学校志愿服务中表现积极、贡献突出的志愿者，鼓励他们培养公民责任感、服务精神和领导能力，并通过实际行动回馈社区。

The President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) has been suspended since May 2025. To continue recognizing and encouraging students and community members who dedicate their time to volunteer service, Huaxia South Chinese School has actively sought alternative avenues for volunteer service recognition and awards.

On September 14, 2025, during Marlboro Day, the Principal met with the Mayor of Marlboro Township to discuss volunteer service recognition opportunities for students and community volunteers. With the support of the Mayor's Office, the Marlboro Mayor's Volunteer Service Awardwas established. Qualified applicants will receive an award certificate signed by the Mayor of Marlboro.

The Marlboro Mayor's Volunteer Service Award is supported by the Marlboro Mayor's Office, administered by Huaxia South Chinese School, and awarded through a certificate personally signed by the Mayor of Marlboro.

The purpose of this award is to recognize volunteers who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to community service, school service, and charitable activities. The program encourages civic responsibility, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to serving others and giving back to the community.
